Intraoral scanners, chairside mills, and complete same-day crown workflows — available to rent and upgrade as technology evolves.
CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design / Computer-Aided Manufacturing) systems are the fastest-evolving technology segment in modern dentistry. An intraoral scanner alone can cost $15,000–$50,000 to purchase outright. Renting makes the technology accessible from day one and allows upgrading when a new generation launches.

Some CAD/CAM systems are closed (scanner, design software, and mill from one manufacturer) while others are open (export STL files to any compatible mill or lab). Open systems give you flexibility to work with outside labs. Rental agreements specify whether a system is open or closed and what costs apply for lab-forwarded scans.
Scan, design, mill, and cement a crown in 90 minutes. Rental of the full chairside workflow bundle makes this feasible for any practice.
IOS combined with CBCT data enables virtual implant planning and milled surgical guides in-house.
3D-printed models and alignments trays produced at the point of care, reducing lab turnaround by days.
All CAD/CAM rentals include hands-on training from a certified clinical trainer, typically 2–3 days on-site.
The scan itself is processed locally on the scanner's PC or tablet. Internet connectivity is required for cloud backup, software updates, and lab file transmission. A standard broadband connection (≥25 Mbit/s) is sufficient.
Open-system scanners export STL files that can be sent to any lab worldwide. Closed-system scanners may restrict forwarding to manufacturer-network labs. This is clarified before signing the rental agreement.
Initial training is typically 2–3 days on-site from a certified clinical application specialist. Refresher training and online webinars are available throughout the rental term.
