Simple process

How Dental.Rent Works

From browsing to delivery in as few as 3–5 business days. Here is exactly what to expect at every stage.

The process

From Request to Ready in 5 Steps

1

Browse equipment categories

Start on the equipment overview page or navigate directly to the category you need. Each category page explains the product types available, typical rental rates, and key specification questions to consider.

Not sure what you need? Our quote form includes a free needs-assessment — describe your practice and clinical requirements and we will recommend the right equipment.

2

Submit a quote request

Fill in the quote request form in under 5 minutes. Tell us the equipment you need, your location, how many chairs or surgeries you equip, your preferred term length (monthly/annual), and any special requirements.

Your request is matched against our network of 200+ vetted suppliers covering Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Africa.

3

Receive & compare offers

Within 24 business hours you receive between 2 and 5 competing rental proposals in a standardised format, making direct comparison straightforward. Each offer includes a monthly rate, term length, what is included (delivery, installation, service, software), and any end-of-term options.

A Dental.Rent account manager is available to help you interpret and compare the proposals at no extra cost.

4

Sign the rental agreement

Select your preferred offer. A digital rental agreement is issued by the supplier and signed electronically via the Dental.Rent portal. Review the key terms: monthly fee, included services, breakdown SLA, upgrade rights, and end-of-term options. We recommend reading the full agreement — if anything is unclear, your account manager can clarify.

Tip: Confirm that the agreement explicitly states response time for breakdown (typically next business day) and what happens if the equipment is out of service for more than 48 hours (loan unit or rental credit).
5

Delivery, installation & go-live

The supplier delivers and installs the equipment within the agreed lead time (typically 3–7 business days). Installation includes connection to utilities, initial commissioning, and operator training. For regulated items (autoclaves, X-ray), all required certification and validation documentation is provided.

After go-live, supplier support continues throughout the rental term. Annual service visits, software updates, and any breakdown callouts are handled directly between you and the supplier, with Dental.Rent mediating any disputes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Dental.Rent a supplier or a marketplace?

Dental.Rent is a marketplace. We connect dental practices with equipment suppliers — we do not own or supply equipment ourselves. Rental contracts are between the practice and the supplier directly.

Does Dental.Rent operate globally?

Yes — our supplier network covers Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and parts of Africa. Some equipment categories have limited coverage in certain regions. Your quote request will indicate supplier availability in your area.

How long does it take to receive quotes after submitting a request?

We aim to deliver your first quotes within 24 business hours. For complex or unusual equipment requests, allow up to 48 hours.

What if I'm not happy with any of the quotes received?

You are under no obligation to accept any quote. If the initial offers don't meet your requirements, our account manager will work with you to refine the specification and approach additional suppliers.

What is the minimum rental term?

Minimum terms vary by equipment type and supplier. For most major equipment (chairs, imaging, CAD/CAM), 12 months is the typical minimum for best rates. Short-term rentals from 1 month are available for handpieces, portable units, and some diagnostic instruments.

Who owns the equipment during the rental?

The supplier (or their finance partner) retains ownership throughout the rental term. You have exclusive use of the equipment for the agreed period. End-of-term purchase options at a residual value are available with many agreements.
