Dental Laser Systems

Diode, Er:YAG, Nd:YAG, and CO₂ dental lasers for soft-tissue, hard-tissue, and periodontal procedures — rent on flexible monthly terms.

Choose the Right Laser for Your Clinical Applications

Dental lasers enable minimally invasive treatment, reduce bleeding, shorten healing times, and improve patient comfort. The four main wavelengths each suit different tissue types and procedures. Purchase prices range from $8,000 for an entry diode to over $80,000 for an all-tissue Er:YAG system — renting gives you access to the right wavelength without that commitment.

Key considerations when renting a dental laser

🎓

Training & certification

Most jurisdictions require laser safety training (LSO). Rental includes a training day and laser safety officer (LSO) documentation support.

🥽

Safety equipment

Protective eyewear for operator, assistant, and patient — specific to each wavelength — is included with every rental.

🔬

Fibre maintenance

Optical fibres and tips degrade with use. Rental agreements specify included consumable allowances and replacement costs.

📈

Revenue potential

Laser frenectomies, periodontal decontamination, and whitening are premium treatments that quickly offset the monthly rental fee.

Laser safety note: Dental lasers are Class 3B or Class 4 devices. Controlled-area signage, appropriate PPE, and staff training are mandatory in all jurisdictions. Setup includes a laser safety audit and compliance documentation.

FAQs

Do I need special room modifications for a dental laser?

You need controlled-area signage on the surgery door and window covers where applicable. Most Class 3B diode lasers require minimal structural modification. Class 4 Er:YAG systems require a complete controlled-access area. The safety audit determines exact requirements.

Is laser training included in the rental?

Yes — a certified clinical trainer delivers a one-day hands-on training session covering safety protocols, indications, and clinical techniques. Online refresher modules are available throughout the term.

What consumables do I need to buy separately?

Optical fibres, tips, and single-use applicators are consumables not included in base rental. A starter pack (approximately 50 tips) is provided. Ongoing consumable pricing is agreed in the rental contract.

Can a diode laser replace an Er:YAG for all procedures?

No — diode lasers work well on soft tissue but cannot cut enamel, dentine, or bone. If you require hard-tissue capability (e.g., caries removal, cavity preparation without drill), an Er:YAG or Er,Cr:YSGG laser is required.
